Description: While off duty, Officer Daniels attempted to stop a robbery at a local restaurant where he had stopped to have dinner. The suspect entered the restaurant and ordered everyone on the floor. Officer Daniels immediately took police action and told the suspect to drop his weapon. A struggle ensued and Officer Daniels was shot several times while attempting to subdue the suspect. Officer Daniels collapsed and died in the parking lot as he attempted to stop the suspect from fleeing the scene.
