Description: Trooper Dobson was struck and killed by a vehicle while making a traffic stop. Trooper Dobson was outside his patrol car issuing a summons when he was struck by a passing vehicle on I-290 in Tonawanda. First aid and CPR were performed at the scene by a fellow officer. Trooper Dobson was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
