Description: Deputy Sheriff Dahlvig was killed in an automobile crash while responding to a call for back-up from the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Department. Deputy Dahlvig's vehicle struck the back of a truck that had suddenly pulled out in front of him on the highway. The driver of the truck had a preliminary BAC of 0.19, nearly twice the legal limit and was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
