Description: Deputy Sheriff Dinkheller was shot and killed after he pulled a truck over for a speeding violation. Deputy Dinkheller was shot nine times, with a M-1 carbine rifle, that penetrated his vest. He was able to return fire and injure the suspect. The suspect was convicted of murder and executed by lethal injection.
