Description: Patrol Officers' Dixon and Charles Bokinskie were shot and killed while attempting to stop a truck loaded with several pounds of marijuana in San Rafael Valley, AZ. During the pursuit, the suspect suddenly stopped his vehicle causing Officer Dixon to apply his brakes. As the patrol car slid next to the suspect vehicle an exchange of gun fire erupted and both officers were killed. The suspect was also shot several times and died while attempting to flee the scene.
