Description: Officer Deno was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop. After verifying that the suspect was a suspended driver, Officer Deno advised him that he was under arrest. While attempting to handcuff the suspect, the suspect produced a small handgun and shot Officer Deno in the head. Officer Deno was transported to a local hospital where he died later that evening.
