Description: Officer Delgado had just started his shift which required him to operate an unmarked patrol unit. The patrol unit he needed was at another officer's home residence. While driving to that location in uniform and patrol cruiser, Officer Delgado's cruiser was broadsided by a man who had run a red light. Officer Delgado was killed instantly. Suspect was sited and found guility of drunk driving, speeding, and being under the influence of drugs.
