Description: Constable Dunn, along with a posse of law enforcement officers, surrounded a log cabin where members of the Dyer gang were hiding. A gunfight erupted and Constable Dunn was struck in the stomach and died at the scene. The desperadoes fled but were captured the next day. The suspects were tried in a court of law for the murder of Constable Dunn and found not guilty, reason not given.
