Description: Corporal Deese was killed in an automobile accident while traveling westbound on Interstate 26. Corporal Deese and his K-9 Sonja were killed instantly when the driver of a pick-up truck crossed the median and struck Corporal Deese's patrol vehicle head-on. The driver of the pick-up truck was also killed in this accident.
