Description: Deputy Sheriff Daly was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop on a suspect wanted for armed robbery charges. As Deputy Daly approached the suspect's vehicle, the suspect exited his vehicle and opened fire, striking Deputy Daly twice. Deputy Daly was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect fled the scene and was later apprehended after an extensive search by law enforcement officers.
