Description: Patrolman Deckard died as a result of a gunshot wound sustained two weeks earlier while pursuing robbery suspects. Patrolman Deckard attempted to pull over the suspects' vehicle and they fled. The suspects shot Patrolman Deckard through his windshield which caused his patrol vehicle to crash. Patrolman Deckard was transported to a hospital where he remained until his death on December 20, 2013. The suspects were apprehended.
