Description: Officer Dickey was killed in a single-car automobile accident while on patrol on I-8 in Imperial County, California. While on patrol, a tire on his department vehicle blew out causing him to lose control of the vehicle and roll over several times. Officer Dickey was flown to a hospital in Yuma, Arizona where he was pronounced dead.
