Description: Deputy Sheriff Detwiler was shot and killed while responding to the scene of a disturbance call where a water management employee had been shot at by a resident. Deputy Detwiler and a fellow deputy detained one suspect and went into her trailer to investigate further. While searching the trailer, Deputy Detwiler was shot and killed by the suspect's husband. His assailant then committed suicide inside the residence.
