Description: Officer Donovan was struck and killed while directing traffic around an accident scene. Officer Donovan responded to an accident on the Sommerville Avenue Bridge. While directing traffic around the accident scene, another vehicle lost control and struck him. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
