Description: Officer Deason and Officer Gus Jordan went to a residence where the occupant had reportedly shot his wife earlier. The Officers called on the suspect to come out of the house. The suspect responded by shooting at the officers, striking Officer Deason in the liver. Officer Deason was transported to the hospital where he died the next day.
