Description: On October 1, 1966, Sergeant Delmar and a second officer were injured in an automobile crash when their patrol car was struck broadside by a vehicle that had ran a red light. Both officers were transported to the hospital. Sergeant Delmar died of his injuries four days later. The second officer survived.
