Description: On October 18, 2011, Trooper Dyer was on patrol when he suffered a stroke. Trooper Dyer had expedited his response to a call, regarding a rollover crash with an entrapped driver, with his emergency lights activated. Trooper Dyer completed the call, conducted follow-up at the hospital and resumed his patrol. Four hours later, Trooper Dyer collapsed. Trooper Dyer was transported to the hospital where he remained until his death on December 28, 2011.
