Description: Deputy Evans was killed after being struck by a vehicle which was being pursued by other officers. Deputy Evans and his partner had set up a roadblock on State Route 613 to stop suspects who had fled another county. While outside his cruiser, the suspects' vehicle hit Deputy Evans's cruiser at 85 mph, pinning him underneath.
