Description: Patrolman Eifert was shot when he answered a disturbance call involving two men and three women at a boarding house. Patrolman Eifert was shot in the chest with a .38 pistol as he ascended the stairs. Patrolman Eifert was transported to the hospital where he died. His assailant was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
