Description: Officer Edenfield was working an off duty event authorized by his department when he was called to investigate a disturbance. One of the suspects was drunk and Officer Edenfield attempted to arrest him. Suspect got into a fight with officer and fled. Officer Edenfield called for backup and pursued suspect. Three officers were able to recapture suspect and place him under arrest. Officer Edenfield collapsed after arrest with chest pains. He was transported to a local hospital where he died a few hours later.
