Description: Officer Enchautegui arrived home after the late shift at the 40th Precinct when he heard breaking glass. Officer Enchautegui took his off-duty weapon and went to investigate. Officer Enchautegui was shot while attempting to arrest two suspects for burglary. Officer Enchautegui was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. The two wounded suspects were arrested.
