Description: Police Officer Eaton was shot when he attempted to stop a fight at a dancehall. Officer Eaton was attending a dance with his wife when a fight started between two men. Officer Eaton stepped in and restored the peace. A brother of one of the men involved in the disturbance entered the dancehall and fired a shot which fatally struck Officer Eaton. The shooter was convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
