Description: Inspector Ellison was shot and killed while supervising a dance. Inspector Ellison and other officers were at the dance to ensure it did not become unruly. Five men were staked out with guns at the outskirts of the dance to get revenge on law enforcement officers for deporting the wife of one of the men. When Inspector Ellison came within the vicinity of the men he was shot numerous times and killed. Three of the suspects were caught the next day, sentenced to death, and eventually executed. One suspect was shot during a gunbattle with officers the next day. What happened to the last suspect is unknown.
