Description: Trooper Ellsworth was outside his patrol car when he was struck by a vehicle on November 18, 2016. Trooper Ellsworth had responded to a report regarding low hanging power lines which were causing a traffic hazard when the incident occurred. Trooper Ellsworth was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries four days later.
