Description: Police Officer Eldridge was shot when he stopped a suspect for questioning regarding a robbery. Officer Eldridge was on his radio confirming the description of the suspect when the suspect approached and shot him in the abdomen. Officer Eldridge died at the scene. The suspect then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.
