Description: Detective Erson was working undercover on a prostitution sting when he was found in his unmarked car with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Detective Erson had also been robbed of his wallet and revolver. Detective Erson was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two suspects were convicted of capital murder. One suspect received the death penalty and the second suspect was sentenced to life in prison.
