Description: Police Officer Estes was shot twice in the chest as he attempted to disarm a mentally deranged suspect who went berserk in the Municipal Court building. Officer Estes returned fire, wounding his assailant. The suspect killed a second man and wounded two other civilians before he was subdued and arrested. Officer Estes was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
