Description: Trooper Edelson was killed in an automobile accident while on patrol near Liberty, New York. Trooper Edelson was responding to a criminal mischief complaint when he made a U-turn on Route 55 and lost control of his cruiser on a downhill curve. Trooper Edelson was killed instantly when his cruiser went off the road and crashed into a tree.
