Description: Detective Elsberry was shot and killed as he attempted to arrest two suspects who had just robbed a store in Valentine, TX. The suspects exited the store, firing at everyone in their path. The store clerk ran, calling for help. Detective Elsberry responded and was shot in the chest during the ensuing gun battle. Two suspects were arrested.
