Description: Officer Estridge and Officer John Wilson were on security duty at the Dixie Theater when one of the patrons started a disturbance. The officers warned the man to stop or he would be removed. A verbal argument escalated to a physical confrontation. The suspect gained control of Officer Wilson's gun and fired several shots. Officer Estridge was shot in the head and died at the scene. The suspect fled the scene and was never caught.
