Description: Chief Deputy Eggleston was killed in a single-vehicle automobile accident while on duty. Deputy Eggleston had just finished a drug investigation and was en route home in uniform when his department SUV blew a rear tire, skidded off the road, and flipped once. Deputy Eggleston died at the scene of the accident.
