Description: Officer Evans was directing traffic following a parade. A motorist disregarded Officer Evan's traffic commands and struck Officer Evans with his vehicle. Officer Evans was dragged over 100 feet before the driver stopped. Officer Evans was transported to Mt. Carmel Medical Center, where he remained comatose until his death six days later.
