Description: Corporal Edwards was shot while responding to a call of breaking and entering. Corporal Edwards and his partner arrived at the scene and confronted a man matching the description in the parking lot. As Corporal Edwards was speaking with the suspect, the man pulled out a gun and shot Corporal Edwards. His partner returned fire, wounding the suspect. Corporal Edwards was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
