Description: Sheriff Edge answered a disturbance call and, with the help of Deputy Lee D'Spain, arrested the intoxicated suspect after a considerable struggle. When they arrived back at the Constable's Office, the lawmen escorted the still struggling suspect upstairs to the jail. Sheriff Edge began perspiring profusely and felt ill. As Sheriff Edge was being assisted into his home by his deputies, he collapsed on the front porch and died before a doctor could be summoned.
