Description: Patrolman Fahey was setting out road flares to divert traffic around the scene of a fatal crash on the interstate when he was fatally struck by an impaired hit and run driver. Patrolman Fahey was transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead. The driver was later arrested and charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident, drug possession, and driving under the influence.
