Description: Sheriff Felker was shot and killed while attempting to serve a warrant on suspect Clayton Thompson who was wanted for murder. Sheriff Felker and Deputy Richard Jones were en route to locate the suspect when the saw the suspect traveling on the same road. When the Sheriff Felker ordered the suspect to surrender, he shot the sheriff fatally in the head and wounded Deputy Jones. Deputy Jones was able to return fire and kill the suspect.
