Description: Patrolman Fadell was killed in an automobile accident while on motorcycle patrol on Beacon and Canton Streets. Patrolman Fadell's department motorcycle struck the right front fender of another car who failed to yield the right of way. Patrolman Fadell was thrown from his bike several feet and received severe head injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
