Description: Deputy Sheriff Forgione was shot and killed while trying to arrest a suspect who had escaped from hospital custody for a mental evaluation and returned to his childhood home. Deputy Forgione was part of the team that entered the residence after negotiations failed to draw the suspect out. As the team entered the house, the suspect shot and killed Deputy Forgione. The suspect was then killed by the other deputies.
