Description: Patrolman Freeman died as a result of a blood clot due to an injury he sustained on March 31, 2012, while handling a suspect. Patrolman Freeman apprehended a domestic disturbance suspect and as he escorted the suspect to his patrol vehicle, he fell. Patrolman Freeman was transported to a nearby hospital. Patrolman Freeman died on April 30, 2012, while in rehabilitative care, as a result of a blood clot.
