Description: Warden Farquhar returned home to find his wife, Doris bludgeoned to death. Inmate Kelvin O'Neal Washington, who was serving a 20 year sentence for the attempted murder of a police officer, then beat Warden Farquhar to death. When the Warden did not report to work, two other inmates were sent to the residence to investigate. Washington shot both of them with a shotgun he found at the house and then set the house on fire in order to cover up the murders. Washington went on this rampage as he was upset for having been ordered to pick pecans on the farm.
