Description: Officer Frantz was responding to a traffic accident when the front tire of his motorcycle blew out after driving over a windshield frame that had been left in the middle of the Scranton Road. Officer Frantz was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining fractured ribs and head injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he died later that day.
