Description: Patrolman Ford was disarmed and shot with his own gun as he attempted to lock a robbery suspect in a prison cell. Corporal Weidert and Patrolman Albert Oestriecher were also shot by the suspect as they attempted to reach the cell window from the outside. The suspect was shot and killed by lawmen as he attempted to escape from their custody.
