Description: Trooper Floyd was struck and killed while working speed enforcement on U.S. Highway 60 in Texas County, Missouri. Trooper Floyd had stopped a vehicle for a violation and was returning to his cruiser when he was struck and killed by an oncoming pickup truck. Trooper Floyd was airlifted to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
