Description: Police Officer Faulkner was shot in the head when he stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. As Officer Faulkner frisked the motorist, the brother of the motorist crossed the street and fired several shots at Officer Faulkner. Officer Faulkner returned fire and wounded his assailant. Officer Faulkner was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
