Description: Sergeant Furrh was shot and killed while participating in a warrant search of a home in Caldwell County. Sergeant Furrh and several officers from neighboring agencies participated in the drug raid. Sergeant Furrh, the entry officer, was shot immediately as the suspect opened the front door. Sergeant Furrh was pronounced dead at the scene.
