Description: On December 20, 2013, Lieutenant Feldt was responding to a call for assistance regarding a fight at USP Big Sandy, Kentucky involving multiple inmates with weapons. While responding, Lieutenant Feldt suffered a torn Achilles tendon and was transported to a hospital. Lieutenant Feldt died due to a blood clot three days later.
