Description: On November 16, 1914, Police Officer Fitch was injured in a motorcycle crash while on patrol when he swerved to avoid an obstacle and struck a pedestrian. Officer Fitch suffered a fractured skull and was transported to the hospital where he remained until his death a week later on November 24th. The pedestrian recovered from his injuries.
