Description: Asst. Chief of Police Fox was struck by a vehicle while crossing a dimly lit street. Asst. Chief Fox and Chief Hollingshed were investigating a series of thefts in town and were on their way to the magistrate's house when the incident occurred. Asst. Chief Fox was transported to the hospital where he died of multiple injuries.
