Description: Officer Farrell and Officer Mock were pursuing a purse snatcher who had fled into the woods. As they followed the suspect, both officers were shot. Officer Mock returned fire, killing their assailant. Officer Farrell was transported to the hospital where he died of two gunshot wounds to the chest. Officer Mock survived his injuries.
