Description: Officer Frazier died of a heart attack after being engaged in a gun battle which took the life of Sullivan County Constable Bruce Barker. Patrolman Frazier and Constable Barker were attempting to take a fugitive into custody when a gun battle ensued. Constable Barker was shot and killed by the fugitive. Patrolman Frazier was shot in the face and abdomen and suffered a fatal heart attack while being treated for his injuries in the hospital. The suspect was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
